The 300 MW Cestas power plant was connected to the grid on September 25

The 300 MW Cestas power plant (near Bordeaux) was connected to the grid on 25 September. It consists of 25 power stations of 12 MW each, with east-west orientation of the panels. The panels were supplied by Trina Solar, Yingli, and Canadian Solar. It cost €360m. The electricity will be sold to EDF for twenty years at a price of €0.105 per kWh
