French green electricity supplier Ekwateur has teamed up with Sunology, a specialist in plug & play solar stations. The aim is to make the most of surplus solar energy that is not consumed by directing it to a virtual battery that can sell the surplus energy to Ekwateur at a price of 8.3 euro cents per kWh.

Austrian company EET, a specialist in self-consumption with storage, is setting up in France. It is offering its SolMate solution, which installs two or four PV panels on balconies, walls or on the ground in just 30 minutes. This solution can cover up to 50% of a household's energy needs. The company is already present in Austria, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Switzerland.
