The European Commission has revised its industrial strategy. It is based on a multitude of measures, objectives and commitments
designed to guide Member States in their economic recovery from the current Covid 19 pandemic. The Commission recognises that "the transition to a cleaner, more digital, more resilient economic and industrial model must be accelerated". It will encourage Member States to raise their ambitions. It will take steps to make panel production more environmentally friendly
