Solar trade unions welcome the publication of the final version of the EPP
The final version of the Multiannual Energy Programme (MEP) has just been published and confirms the increase in the number of photovoltaic calls for tenders according to the rhythm that appeared in the previous version of the text, i.e. :
2 GW per year for ground-mounted solar power plants and 900 MW per year for rooftop plants.
Enerplan welcomes the publication of this text, while mentioning that measures must be taken quickly to unblock the brakes on the deployment of solar energy, such as improving the procedures for obtaining building permits, or setting up an open window for installations up to 500 kW.
The Syndicat des Energies Renouvelables calls the EPP an ambitious roadmap that must now be implemented. It appreciates that offshore wind energy benefits from an upward revision of the objectives.
