Will the new European Commission be the climate change Commission?
The new President of the European Commission has undertaken to place the European Union's efforts to combat climate change at the centre of her administration. She is due to take office on1 December. She is expected to announce a major plan to achieve the energy objectives for 2030, followed by the EU's zero-carbon ambition for 2050.
