Large green hydrogen project led by Shell
Shell studies the feasibility of building a 3 to 4 GW wind farm in the North Sea
(north of the Netherlands) by 2030, in order to produce green hydrogen. Shell, Gasunie and the Port of Groningen are the founding partners of the NortH2 project. They hope to attract other partners, including European or national subsidies.

Editor's note No investment amount is announced. It seems considerable because of the partners already involved and the search for new participants. Unless the project seems risky and the partners want to dilute the losses in case of bad development of the project.
