Major breakthrough of the perovskite solar cell

The power conversion efficiency has exceeded 20% and the problem of water-induced degradation has just been solved: Until now, perovskite solar cells have been mechanically fragile and degraded by water. A team (from Qatar, Switzerland and Italy) has discovered new water-resistant materials.
