In India, you have to build, but you also have to pay for the electricity you produce.
It is not enough to get projects to be built in India, you also need to be able to get paid for the electricity produced. However, the distribution companies (Discoms) are heavily indebted and in deficit. According to some studies, the volume of losses in these companies should only be halved by 2019. However, the minister insisted that the Discoms should be profitable and above all that they include renewable energies in their electricity supply.
