Finding electricity generators to compensate for the closure of gas-fired power plants in California
The Californian authorities' desire to achieve 60% renewable energy by 2030, and 100% by 2045, creates the need to install electricity generators to compensate for the closure of natural gas power plants. This is because natural gas power plants currently constitute the major energy supply base in the United States, with 34% of the country's energy supply coming from renewable sources.
