First floating power plant in France

The French company Akuo Energy has launched the construction of France's first floating photovoltaic power plant on the lake located at

Piolenc (Vaucluse). It will use technology from Ciel et Terre. It is the first floating power plant in France and the largest in Europe (17 MWp).
