Engie Electrabel is launching a photovoltaic solar offer for private individuals in Belgium, in partnership with the American company Sungevity: with Sungevity's software, combined with satellite images, the customer can visualise the various installation simulations on his computer screen. A professional gives him/her explanations over the phone about the chosen equipment, the expected production estimate and the likely savings on his/her electricity bill. An appointment is then made for the installation. A repair service for existing installations is provided by a network of selected professionals.
By the end of the year, with the intelligent thermostat connected to the solar panels (the boxx), everyone will be able to monitor their electricity production and consumption in real time and thus estimate the savings on their energy bill.
