German equipment manufacturers are forecasting a 50% increase in sales of photovoltaic equipment in the second quarter of 2023 compared with the^first quarter, and a 50% increase in sales of solar panels in the second quarter of 2023 compared with the^first quarter.

7% over the ^2nd quarter of 2022. 92.5% of sales were outside France. They break down into 88% for Asia and 4% for the Americas. Europe, including Germany, accounted for 7.5% of sales.

New orders were down 14% on the^first quarter. Asia is once again by far the most important market, accounting for 82% of orders, but the shares of Europe (10.6%) and America (7.5%) are higher.
