BloombergNEF drastically raises its 2023 installation forecasts
Falling panel prices and the acceleration of PV installations in China have prompted BloombergNEF to raise its forecast for installations to 392 GW in 2023.
Global production capacity
of silicon equivalent to 570 GW of panel capacity should be reached by the end of the year.
Solar panel prices are already at rock bottom, at 16.5 US cents per watt. By the end of the year, BloombergNEF expects 14.5 cents for a typical monocrystalline and mono-facial panel.

Editor's note: BNEF is careful not to compare the new estimate for 2023 (392 GW) with what was achieved in 2022 (244 GW). Sales are said to have risen by 60% in twelve months. Is this credible? Is it possible?
