Wetting and defoaming to improve insert cutting
German chemical producer Evonik claims that its new wetting and defoaming solutions improve the speed and quality of wafer cutting, despite the industry's move towards harder, more brittle materials.
Its Tego Surten E products are advanced cutting fluids designed for high-speed diamond and multi-wire sawing processes. These fluids are specifically designed to work effectively with finer wires in cutting systems. They were presented at SNEC.
