Switzerland directs households towards large-scale PV installations
Switzerland will abolish rebates for small residential PV systems (up to 5 kW) from 2024, and will encourage larger projects that use the entire available roof area.
Residential systems
up to 5 kW will be abolished. Systems with an output of between 5 kW and 30 kW are eligible for a rebate of between 380 and 440 Swiss francs. However, this amount will be reduced by 20 francs from 2024.
