Italy eases permits to install more renewable energy
The Italian government is easing permits to install more large-scale renewable energy. It has released 314 MW of new renewable energy projects, including an agrivoltaic plant
60 MW in the southern region of Puglia. The aim is to develop large-scale power plants and reduce dependence on gas imports in the coming years.
In March, the Italian government started bypassing regional authorities to authorise some renewable energy projects.
