Major projects for Akuo
In 2021, Akuo recorded sales of 233 million euros, up 9% on 2020. The bulk of sales are made up of
sales of energy from power stations and the balance of sales of products and services to third parties. Over the period, EBITDA rose by 6% to €136 million.
Last year saw the commissioning of six new projects and the acquisition of five hydro plants in operation in Bulgaria, representing a total of more than 260 MW of electricity and almost 20 MWh of storage capacity.
At the beginning of 2022, the founders increased their equity stake thanks to a financing line provided by ICG Infra.
In fifteen years, the group has commissioned 1.4 GW of renewable energy. Over the next twelve months, Akuo will start building 2 GW in ten countries. To achieve this, Akuo is launching a campaign to raise up to €3 million in equity financing.
