Cracks in connectors used by SunPower

SunPower has discovered cracks in connectors installed in commercial and industrial projects.

The company estimates the cost of replacing this equipment at $31 million. This amount will reduce the company's expected fourth-quarter profits. There will also be the effects of the bad weather in California, which has pushed back the installations to 2022, as well as the effects of covid on personnel

Editor's note Admittedly, this is an industrial accident, as can happen in any company. But after all the sell-offs, strategic repositioning and restrictions on the scope of the business, we have to wonder whether Total Energie's management really understands what is going on in its subsidiary.
