Australia supplies battery materials

Western Australia is building a nickel pilot project,

of battery grade cobalt and manganese for battery cathode precursor materials (PCAM). The unit, located in Perth, is expected to be completed in early 2022. Western Australia aims to become a materials supplier to the emerging battery industry.
