A sunshade for the beach

A company set up by the American MIT has teamed up with architects and an Italian ice cream brand to design

an origami-inspired parasol that powers refrigerators. Foldable, it creates energy on the beaches of seaside resorts. It is 2.5 metres high, has a diameter of 3.5 metres and has panels all over its surface.
