Zhonghuan Semiconductor has started construction of its new 50 GW wafer manufacturing facility in Ningxia Hui province. It will produce 210mm wafers from the end of 2022, after costing $1.9 billion
China's Sungrow presents a 325 kW string inverter. It will go into series production in the second half of the year. It is suitable for panels with a power output of over 600 W using 182 mm and 210 mm wafers

A first panel production unit will be installed in Romania with a capacity of 100 MW. The production line will be supplied by Mondragon Assembly. The factory will be operational before the summer. It will be marketed in the country and then in the European Union
