SAFT inaugurates a storage production site in China

The battery manufacturer SAFT, a Total subsidiary, has just inaugurated a new production site for storage solutions in Zhuhai (China) to complement its facilities in Bordeaux and Jacksonville (USA)

These three centres

provide the full range of services: from project development to sizing, engineering and connection to the network.

The production capacity of the new plant will be around 200 containers per year, the equivalent of 480 MWh. This unit already produces Intensium containers in China adapted to the storage of renewable energy that stabilises the network.
