Equipment manufacturer Manz maintains its previous forecasts
Although a customer cancelled a major order for the energy storage division in June 2016, equipment manufacturer Manz believes that sales and net profit for 2016 are in line with the previous forecast. An order for equipment for the production of CIGS could still be received. For this year, the company expects a significant increase in turnover and a clear recovery in operating profit (EBIT) compared with 2015 (which was a loss of €58m).

Le taïwanais Giga Solar s'attend à une croissance de 30 à 40 % de son chiffre d'affaires au 4ème trimestre 2016 grâce à la montée en puissance, à 80 %/90 % du nominal, de sa capacité de production de pâte de métallisation à base d'aluminium, d'aluminium-argent, d'argent. Le chiffre d'affaires viendra à 60 % de Chine, 30 % de Taïwan et 10 % de l'extérieur.
Une nouvelle usine sera mise en production dans l'est de la Chine pour fournir les fabricants chinois de cellules à partir du 1er trimestre 2017.

The company, which owns renewable energy generators mainly in Brazil, had an installed capacity at 30 June of 376 MW (compared to 271 MW a year ago, an increase of 39%). They produced 70% more energy. This explains why turnover jumped 71% in one year. Major investments over the half year (€81m financed by borrowings) brought the net financial debt to 1.51 times shareholders' equity. The cost of debt (multiplied by 4 in one year) reached 28% of revenue. This explains the slight increase in net profit.

Solar energy is the driving force behind Langa's growth, wind power and international markets are its growth drivers
Langa closed its 2015 financial year at €68 million (+32% over 2014), with a net profit of €2.2 million, and 100 MW installed
The company obtained 70 MW of solar power to be built in recent calls for tenders; 34 MW of wind power will be built in 2017. Three subsidiaries are open internationally in Turkey, Chile and Thailand. The goal of 200 MW in operation is in sight.
To carry out its strategy, Langa has acquired new financial resources, as numerous acquisition and partnership opportunities are currently being studied.

Daqo New Energy's half-yearly expansion driven by increased production and exceptional profit margin
It is sufficient that between the2nd quarter of 2015 and the2nd quarter of 2016, the silicon producer has reduced its production costs by 27% and that the average selling price has increased by 8% for the gross margin to rise from 10.5% to 41.4% for a quarterly production quantity of 3,570 tonnes (+160% in twelve months) and 6,975 tonnes in six months (+97%).

Shunfeng wants to diversify out of photovoltaic products
