The Langa Group obtained 49.3 MW in 31 projects in the CRE3 tender process.
The Langa Group obtained 49.3 MW in 31 projects in the CRE3 tender, in the form of greenhouses, roofing, shading and ground level. This corresponds to an investment of 90 million euros
The company has a project portfolio of more than 500 MW in France and abroad. It has set itself a target of 300 MW of installed multi-energy capacity in 2018, split between photovoltaic 50%, wind 40% and bioenergy 10%, 80% of which is located in France and 20% abroad
Société Langa du 10 décembre
NDLR There is a big gap between our distribution according to the names of the projects provided by the Ministry of Ecology (cf Générale du Solaire, Langa,...) and the announcements made by the companies. The latter adopt different names according to the projects, and then announce a volume much higher than what appears in the official lists. Do they hope to get more projects selected in this way? But in the file submitted to the administration, they must provide information on the person responsible for the projects, on the bank guarantees provided, on the technical credibility of the projects, and therefore they must refer to their parent company, the one known as Générale du Solaire, Langa, etc. Why hide?
As we have no indications other than those of the Ministry, we are forced to limit ourselves to this list. Then, we receive requests for rectification for information for which we are not responsible. This is unpleasant.

EDF is launching two offers for the supply of electricity from renewable energy sources to professionals and individuals.
EDF is launching two offers for the supply of electricity from renewable energies for professionals and private individuals.
- For professionals, it will be 100% from RE for SMEs, and between 20% and 100% for large companies and local authorities. EDF will allocate €1 for each MWh billed to finance research projects or the construction of renewable energy generators in France.
- For private individuals, EDF guarantees that as much renewable energy as the customer's consumption will be injected into the network.
Bâti-journal of December 3
NDLR This or advertising, you can't tell the difference! Apart from the good faith of the company, there is no way to verify that it will be accurate. There is nothing to say that the company will be well supplied with renewable energy, even though 82% of the electricity it supplies is nuclear, 3% from coal or gas-fired power plants and 8% from hydroelectricity. Only 6.7% of its production comes from solar, wind, biomass, etc. Does this mean that there are very few French people (6.7%, or 15% to count large) interested in renewable energies? Or does EDF equate nuclear power with "energy of renewable origin"?

The official inauguration of the Cestas power plant took place this week.
The official inauguration of the Cestas power plant took place this week. It will produce electricity at a price of 0.105 €/kWh, which is equivalent to wind power. This is cheaper than the energy coming from future nuclear power plants (the old plants produce on the basis of 0.055 €/kWh). It cost €360m for 300 MW. The panels are oriented east-west to produce more power in the early morning and late afternoon, which is more in line with electricity consumption in France.

BNP-Paribas announces its intention to double its financing for renewable energies within five years
In order to move in the direction of the wind at the opening of COP 21, BNP-Paribas announces that it wants to double its financing for renewable energies (€6.9bn in 2014, €15bn in 2020); it undertakes to no longer finance coal-fired power plants in high-income countries and will invest €100m by 2020 in new companies working on energy storage or smart grids.
Photon of 23rd November
Editor's note One could expect from BNP-Paribas something other than nice promises between now and 2020, which of course will be quickly forgotten in the bank. Its well-understood interest is to make a much more ambitious turn towards renewable energies, to accompany their development, as we can see with photovoltaic energy. It has not understood this. This is very disappointing from a leading bank in France which has had difficulty, except with promises, in making a turn towards the future...
