More and more US states are deciding to reach 100% RE

While the US federal government is trying to curb the installation of renewable energy plants, six states have already

tabled a bill to implement 80-100% clean energy by 2050 at the latest. These are Minnesota, New Mexico, Illinois, Virginia, New York. These projects are in addition to the four states (California, Hawaii, Vermont, Massachusetts) and Washington DC, which have standards setting a target of 75% renewable energy.

Editor's note This only confirms the interest of American companies in acquiring renewable energy and the diffusion of the RE advantage to the population across the Atlantic. From the moment the population adopts green energy, the authorities are obliged to follow and propose targets in relation to the implicit demand of the inhabitants. Apart from the conscious desire, there are the financial advantages of adopting a cheaper kilowatt-hour. There has therefore been good publicity around these REs, which has met with public opinion and that of the leaders.
