Increase in order intake in 2018 in the United States

Wood Mackenzie's studies show an increase in project purchases in 2018 in the United States. Power company intentions

were frozen in the second half of 2017 during the debates on Suniva's complaint. January's duty decision freed up purchasing decisions: 8.5 GW of projects were announced in the first half of the year, more than in recent years, and there are still three months left in 2018. The portfolio of projects of the electricity companies amounts to 24 GW, its highest level ever.

Knowing the price of the panels made it possible to know the cost of the final kilowatt hour by comparing it to the price of wind and gas kWh and to make proposals. Added to this is the prospect of the reduction in the federal tax credit from 2020 onwards (which is an incentive to order without delay), and the interest of large companies in direct supply.

Orders in 2018 (for large power plants only) are likely to exceed 11 GW
