Italian decision in favour of residential storage
In Italy, the deduction of personal income tax (Irpef) is equal to a maximum of 50% of the expenses incurred, up to a maximum amount of
96,000, can now be applied to the purchase of a storage system, regardless of whether it is installed at the same time or after the PV system is deployed. The 50% deduction is only available for residential renewable energy projects designed to meet a household's energy needs.
