Enel is building an 85 MW PV plant
In Spain, the Italian company Enel Green Power is starting the construction of its first PV plant. It has a power of 85 MW and is located in
the region of Murcia (near thetown of Totana). This is the first installation from the 2017 tender of 3.9 GW.
The country's new government has waived the unpopular "solar tax". The signing of private purchase contracts could enable Spain to regain its position as the largest solar market in Europe within the next two or three years. Several non-subsidised solar power plants have created a fad for the sector.
