In March, autonomous Portugal (on average) with RE
During the month of March, renewable energies covered
104% of consumption in Portugal, with a minimum of 86% and a maximum of 143%. This abundance has brought prices down from €43.94/MWh in March 2016 to €39.75/MWh a year later. Production was achieved by wind power (42%), hydroelectricity (55%) and solar power (1.7% as only 300 MW are connected to the grid).
