Micro-networks to support electrical installations in Puerto Rico

As the hurricane season approaches, more and more micro-networks are being installed in Puerto Rico. Sonnen has commissioned

its tenth micro-network in a clinic. The US agency USACE has installed nine temporary micro-networks in areas particularly affected by the hurricane.

Puerto Rico's electric utility estimates it has restored power to 96 per cent, but 1,200 FEMA generators still provide power to critical facilities such as hospitals.
