Third panel production unit in Algeria

Zergoun Green Energy to open a panel factory in South Algeria (near Ouargla). The manufacturing plant

with a capacity of 180 MW cost €10 million. It will produce glass-to-glass modules and monocrystalline two-sided back-contact emitter (PERC) modules with a power of up to 360 W, using undisclosed European technology. The solar cells will be supplied by leading Chinese manufacturers.

It will start production in July and intends to sell its products mainly in Algeria but also in Benin, Ivory Coast, Senegal,...

This unit is the third in Algeria after that of Aurès Solaire of 30 MW located near Batna, and that of Condor Electronics in Bordj Bou Arreridj with a capacity of 130 MW.
