Potassium iodide in perovskite ink immobilises the ionic movement.

Scientists at the University of Cambridge have discovered that an addition of potassium iodide to perovskite ink has a healing effect, which immobilises the ionic movement.

The additive is simply mixed with the perovskite ink (allowing continuous printing). The yield was 21.5% and showed good stability, according to the researchers.
