50 MW of storage operational in the United Kingdom
NEC Energy Solutions' (NEC ES) UK energy storage project is up and running. This 50 MW
(40 MW at Glassenbury in Kent and 10 MW at Cleator in Cumbria) is intended to improve the frequency response of the British grid.
