Statoil launches photovoltaic power generation
Already present in offshore wind energy, the Norwegian oil group Statoil is acquiring a stake of
40% (for $25m) with Norway's Scatec Solar in the 162 MW Apodi solar project in north-east Brazil. The plant is expected to come on stream at the end of 2018.
