GCL Poly in the 1st semester
China's GCL-Poly in the first half of the year achieved sales of HKD 17.9 billion ($2.80bn), up 4% over 2014: solar equipment sales amounted to HKD 11.4bn and electricity sales to HKD 5.00bn
Silicon production amounted to 36,768 tonnes (+14% over 2014). 7,005 tonnes were sold; wafer production reached 7,102 MW (+17%), of which 5,776 MW were sold. The company had a silicon production capacity of 70,000 tonnes and a wafer production capacity of 14 GW at 30 June 2015
Net profit fell by 8% over the first half of 2014
