Next tender for 1.5 GW in South Africa

The South African government wants to launch a programme to install 1.5 GW PV plants in the Northern Cape region where electricity shortages persist. A call for tenders will be launched in the coming months. In the meantime, South Africa plans to install more than 9 GW of nuclear power plants
