The ranking of attractive countries for RE penalises the United Kingdom and rewards France

The United Kingdom has slipped back to 14th place among countries attractive for renewable energy, according to the Recai ranking drawn up by Enrst & Young (EY). This is a consequence of the policy shift in favour of PV, with severe cuts in feed-in tariffs,

to the decision to build the Hinkley Point nuclear power plant, and recently at Brexit, which opens up a period of uncertainty.

Persistent fluctuations around the UK government's energy policy have created a confusing picture for investors looking for a low-risk return.
On the other hand, the various European countries have seen their rankings improve. France wins a place
