EDF Energies Nouvelles increases by 396 MW, its solar projects acquired or won in Chile, Brazil and Mexico
EDF Energies Nouvelles increases its solar projects acquired or won in Chile, Brazil and Mexico by 396 MW.
- In Brazil, EDF Énergies Nouvelles acquired 80% of the 191.5 MW Pirapora 1 project in Brazil from .Canadian Solar.
- In Mexico, EDF EN won the Bluemex solar project in the tender (90 MW).
- In Chile, the 115 MWp Santiago Solar project is equally owned with the Chilean developer Andes Mining Energy (AME).
By 2019, in Latin America, the group will have installed 542.5 MWp of solar capacity with, in particular, the Bolero solar project, currently under construction in Chile.
