SunPower sole owner of Malaysian plant; AUO recovers $170 million

The purchase of AU Optronics' shareholding in the cell production plant in Malaysia resolves a dispute between the two companies according to SunPower, which will then be able to carry out the upgrades on this 850 MW unit. This plant was decided in July 2010.
AUO commits to purchase 100 MW of SunPower's E-Series panels.
