Shunfeng wants to diversify out of photovoltaic products
The company wants to diversify its activities because solar products still account for 85% of consolidated turnover. In thefirst half of the year, cell sales amounted to 734 MW (+84%) and panel sales to 781 MW (+42% over last year). Part of this increase is probably due to the October 2015 acquisition of the American company Suniva, which is in the process of increasing the production capacity of its cell factory to 430 MW.
