Midsummer: change of CEO, factory project, agreement with Solarport
Midsummer Energy and Solarport have joined forces to integrate ground-mounted solar energy on the distributor's PV Easy software platform. Thanks to this partnership,
Installers will be able to use Easy PV to design and optimise ground-mounted solar panels, with the same functionality available for the rooftop segment.

Midsummer's CEO has resigned after failing to get a 50 MW cell factory in Italy up and running. He has been replaced by the other founder, who will also have the task of building another plant in Sweden to produce CIGS cells. This unit could go into production in the first quarter of 2026.
