Swedish start-up Enerpoly has been awarded an $8.4 million grant to validate its zinc-ion battery storage technology

which conserves energy for up to ten hours. It plans to build a mega-plant to manufacture zinc-ion batteries.

Dutch photovoltaic solar manufacturer Solarge is deploying a new lightweight roof solution on several commercial buildings in the Netherlands. Instead of glass, the special panels developed by the company use strong, lightweight polymers, which, according to the company, give a module weight per square metre of 5.5 kg.
