POE encapsulants are better than EVA encapsulants
New research identifies the benefits of POE encapsulants in double-glazed solar panels. To understand the long-term effects of humidity
On the durability of glass-glass panels, Austrians have carried out extensive wet heat tests on double-glazed panels manufactured with EVA and POE encapsulants. The latter has better interfacial resistance and less water absorption, is more resistant to the formation of acidic degradation products and has improved barrier capacity against the diffusion of sodium ions.
