Hanwha Qcells has closed its 3.5 GW solar plant in South Korea

Hanwha Qcells has closed its 3.5 GW solar plant in South Korea to optimise its photovoltaic panel production capacity against a backdrop of

stagnation in the domestic solar market. The Group will continue to invest in its main plant in Jincheon, South Korea, where it manufactures TOPCon products and operates a tandem perovskite pilot line.
