7.6% of solar farms worldwide are victims of vandalism
According to Irena, 7.6% of the world's solar farms are victims of vandalism, and this figure is set to rise to 10% by 2021. Solar farms are prone to damage,
theft of panels, inverters, copper cables, etc. The cost of such damage is estimated at between €10,000 and €50,000, depending on the size of the installation and the value of the equipment targeted.
