CIGS thin film achieves 17.5% efficiency
The CIGS (copper, indium, gallium and selenide) thin film from the American company Ascent Solar achieves an efficiency of 17.5%. The 17% figure is important because
is the minimum efficiency required by many satellite companies. The company plans to launch a panel with this efficiency in the near future. The first orders are expected to be shipped in the first quarter of 2024.
