Very strong growth in volumes sold in 2023 by JinkoSolar

Chinese panel manufacturer JinkoSolar shipped more than 52 GW of panels in the first nine months of the year,

and 21 GW in the third quarter (compared with 18 GW in the second and 13 GW in thefirst). The company's sales were also dominated by its N-type tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) cells, which now account for 57% of total shipments.

JinkoSolar's TOPCon cells had a conversion efficiency of 25.5% in the second quarter of 2023. They are expected to account for 80% of JinkoSolar's production. The company expects to ship 77 GW in 2023, compared with 44.5 GW in 2022 (+77%), and 100 GW of panels in 2024 (+30%).
