Chinese production in August compared with July and August 2022
The China Photovoltaic Industry Association (CPIA) reports that silicon production rose by 1.7% month-on-month and 26.2% year-on-year in August.
Wafer production
Silicon production increased by 12% month-on-month and 74% year-on-year.
Cell production was up 3% sequentially and 56% year-on-year.
Panel production was down 1% month-on-month, but up 66% year-on-year.
Inverter production, on the other hand, was down 9% month-on-month but up 67% year-on-year.
