Samsung has developed a monobloc heat pump for residential applications, capable of providing domestic hot water up to 75°C when the outside temperature is between -10°C and +35°C. It uses an enlarged heat exchanger which, according to the company, is capable of transferring more heat than a conventional heat exchanger.

Stryten Energy plans to bring its vanadium redox flow batteries to market in January 2025. The company has deployed a 20kW/120kWh pilot version of the storage system at a facility operated by Snapping Shoals EMC, an electric cooperative in Georgia, USA.

Tesla has launched its new battery, the Powerwall 3, which has an energy capacity of 13.5 kWh and offers continuous grid power of 11.5 kW. The battery includes an inverter with six solar inputs and maximum power point trackers (MPPT). The device is said to have a solar-to-grid efficiency of 97.5%.
