2022 comparison of the four main panel manufacturers
China's leading manufacturers of photovoltaic panels have announced solid financial results for the first quarter of 2023.
JinkoSolar recorded sales of RMB 23.3 billion ($3.4 billion), up 58% year-on-year. Net profit climbed to RMB 788.7 million from RMB 28.9 million in the first quarter of 2022. The company attributed this growth to strong global market demand and increased shipments of its TOPCon products.
LONGi recorded sales of RMB 28.3 billion, up 52.35% year-on-year, with net profit reaching CNY 3.64 billion, an increase of 36.55% on the same period last year.
JA Solar announced quarterly sales of RMB 20.48 billion, up 66.2% year-on-year, with net profit reaching RMB 2.58 billion, an increase of 244.4% on the same period last year.
Trina Solar reported sales of RMB21.3 billion, up 40% year-on-year, with net profit of RMB1.77 billion, up 225% on the same period last year.
